Brahmatal Trek There are indeed similar routes in the Himalayas with comparing beauty but definitely found at much higher altitude. Never ending ridge lines, sprawling Bugiyals, High altitude lakes, majestic peak views and snow on the trail make it an compelling proposition for a winter trek. Brahmatal Trek is a hidden and secluded lake amidst the ridge, where Lord Brahma meditated according to the mythology. The peak view from the route is captivating, from east to west one can see the High Himalayan ranges. From right to left on one side we can see Mrigthuni, Trishul, Bethartoli Himal and Nandaghunti. On the other side we can see the massive Chowkhamba, Nilkanth, Kamet, Hathi and Ghoda peak This is just the opposite ridge of the famous Roopkund trek and offers a Birds-eye view of the route including Ali Bugiyal, Bedni Bugiyal, Roopkund and Junargali inlcuding far poised the famous Ronty saddle.

The beautiful trek to the glacial lake called Brahmatal is one of the most beautiful treks in the Himalayas. The trail of Brahmatal Trek is snow laden and has been very popular in Uttarakhand.

This is great beginner trek with a Summit! The Brahmatal trek covers the highest altitude of 3,733 m (12,250 ft) which is Brahmatal top. The overall brahmatal trek is best trek in Uttrakhand.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Rishikesh to Lohajung

We’ll meet at 8:00 AM. at our hotel in Hotel/Camp in Rishikesh

Meet our representative Pickup to you from railway station & Drive to Lohajung 260 Km (8 Hours (2316 Meter) overnight stay Hotel Lunch en route while drive.

Day 2Trek Lohajungto Bekhaltal

Meet your trek leader 8:00 AM

After breakfast start trek. On the route get magnificent views of Nandaghunti Peak.The Trek is mostly inside the jungle of Oak and Fir . The trek to Bekaltal is 8 kms and is done in 4-5 hours. Overnight Stay In Tents.

Day 3Bekaltal to Khabekhal (or Brahmtal)

After breakfast get ready 8:00 AM

During Winters This Trek Is Covered With Snow. It’s A 3 To 4 Hours Journey To Bhramtaal. The Trail Goes Through A Forest. There Is A Place Called Telindi Top. From This Place You Can View The Mighty Himalayan Ranges, With Peaks Over 7000 Meters. A Short Walk From This Place Is The Khabekhal Lake.

Day 4Khabekhal to Bhramtaal to Daldum.

In The Morning After Breakfast, Start The Climb Towards Bhramtaal. From Khabekhal To Brahmatal Top, Pass Through Chota Jhandidar And Bada Jhandidar. It Is A Trail On A Mountain Ridge With Valleys On Both Sides. You Will Take Approx 2.5 Hours To Reach Brahmatal Top. On The Way, Look Out For The Magnificent Himalayan Ranges On Your Right, Especially Mt.Trishul ,Which Is Very Close To You Along With Nandaghunti. If You Are Lucky Enough And If The Sky Is Clear You Will Have A Magnificent View Of The Complete Himalayan Range From This Trail. From Brahmatal Peak To Next Camp Site,Daldum, It Will Take Approx 3 Hrs To Trek. From Khabekhal Campsite To Daldum Campsite, It Is Approx 2.7 Km, For Which You Will Have To Trek Through The Forest.

Day 5Brahmtal to Lohajung

After breakfast we trek down to back to Lohajung. Stay in the guest house.

Day: 6Drive Lohajung to Devprayag

We drive from Lohajung to devprayag Meet the trip leader at Devprayag. Here you get the overview of the river and trip leader will let you explain about river features and give you safety brief about river rafting, and safety kayak. Rafting begins after all the preparation. A relaxed day with few rapids a day for swimming, body surfing, relaxing and spotting wildlife. Raft 2 and half hour to reach camp at Byass Ghat Camp overnight on the beach.

Day 7Raft from Byasghat to Kaudiyala

The day begins with small rapids followed by nice and scenic beauty. Covers 28 kms to reach to Kaudiyala. This is really nice and easy day for rafting; during rafting down we play games on the boat and splash with each other. This is day to get refresh for the next big day.

Day 8Rafting from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh

The day begin with Big rapids followed by nice and big rapids like: Daniel dip, the wall, Three Blind Mice”, “Crossfire”, and the “Body Surfing rapid”. After lunch we run big rapids, the “Roller Coaster” and “Golf Course” and “Club House” to make it an exciting end to a grand adventure. This is day full of fun and full of white water. The trip ends near Laxman Jhula place called NIM Beach.

There’s no electricity in at camp during trek Candle/Kerosene Lanterns are used for lighting in the Nights. Mobiles cannot be charged at Camp
We will provide Indian food & fruits on the trip
Timings is very important to us be punctual with timing
This is an adventure trip not a luxury trip. Participants must be willing to rough it out.
You must not carry any valuables/expensive items to the trip. Management will not be responsible
You must be fit to carry your Sleeping bag, Mat water bottle & lunch packet.
Only self-service during trip. No private service
People with past history /ailment of heart, asthma, and epilepsy are not recommended

In case of cancellation, following cancellation charges shall be applicable:-

30 days & more 20% cancellation charges.
16-30 days: – 25 % cancellation charges of total amount.
7-15 days: – 100% cancellation charges, No refund.

Rafting shall not be permitted if (Liability form not signed by an individual) severe medical conditions like (Asthma, Heart disease etc.) In case of negative physical fitness, and under the influence of any intoxicant.
50% Advance payment of the total Package cost is Mandatory in order to confirm the booking with White World Expeditions.
We suggest/advise/recommend you to travel with light baggage, in order to keep easy movements
On the occurrence of Natural Hazards OR Calamities, during the trip no refund will be provided, however the alternate activities may be offered by the company as per the availability and permission (if required).
