Deepak Singh Rawat is the Co-Founder of White World Expeditions, one of the most trusted adventure tourism companies in Rishikesh. From representing Uttarakhand at five National Shooting Championships, to supporting the Indian Junior Shooting Team, to leading some of the most popular treks in the Garhwal Himalayas and guiding clients down the rapids of the Ganga and Alaknanda, his journey reflects more than two decades of dedication to adventure, coaching and the outdoors. Today he co-leads operations at White World Expeditions in Rishikesh — managing teams that run rafting in Rishikesh, trekking in Uttarakhand, and camping in Rishikesh trips for thousands of guests each year.

Deepak’s professional life began far from the river — on the shooting range. He represented the state of Uttarakhand in five National Shooting Championships and went on to become a coach certified by the National Rifle Association of India. For two years he worked as support staff with the Indian Junior Shooting Team, and for two further years he coached student athletes at Manav Rachna International University, building a reputation for technical precision, calm focus and disciplined training.
In 2015 he carried that same discipline into adventure tourism, joining White World Expeditions in Rishikesh as a training guide on the Alaknanda and Ganga rivers. Over the next decade he progressed from training guide to Co-Founder, taking direct responsibility for guest experience, guide development and trek operations. He continues to lead trips on the river and in the mountains himself — a hands-on co-founder who is on the water and on the trail with guests, not just in the office.
Represented Uttarakhand in five National Shooting Championships, building elite-level discipline, focus and competitive precision that would later define his approach to adventure sports and guide training.
Served for two years as support staff to the Indian Junior Shooting Team, gaining first-hand experience of elite athlete preparation, team logistics and high-pressure event management.
Worked as a shooting coach at Manav Rachna International University, training student athletes and earning certification as a coach recognised by the National Rifle Association of India.
Moved to Rishikesh and joined White World Expeditions as a training guide on the Alaknanda and Ganga rivers — guiding white-water rafting and beginning a deep journey into Himalayan trekking and kayaking.
Currently Co-Founder at White World Expeditions, leading operations for rafting in Rishikesh, trekking in Uttarakhand and camping in Rishikesh. Personally guides multi-day river trips and Himalayan treks and remains active in kayaking on the Ganga.

Since 2015, Deepak has been an active training guide on the Alaknanda and Ganga rivers and remains regularly involved in kayaking. He has guided guests on the popular day-rafting stretches between Shivpuri, Marine Drive, Kaudiyala and Rishikesh, as well as on multi-day expedition sections.

As Co-Founder, Deepak shares responsibility for the company’s direction alongside founder Bheem Singh Chauhan. He oversees trek operations, supports rafting and camping logistics, and is directly involved in training and mentoring the guide team.
His sporting background gives him a coach’s eye for safety briefings, drill repetition and decision-making under pressure — qualities he carries onto the river and the trail.
