Shivpuri Down Rafting in Rishikesh (SDR-NB-16)

River rafting from Shivpuri down is one of the adrenaline trip in Rishikesh This is the trip with most bumpy rapids on the Ganga River. Which you will be rafting through grade II to III+ rapids 3 hours including 30 mins drive to starting point, and will be done with an experienced river guide on river, you can enjoy the twists and turns of Ganga no matter the grade of the rapids. Rafting will be done with utmost safety and you will be given all the necessary safety gears and briefing before Rafting starts.

After signed up a paper at office meet your crew at 8:30 AM  It’s about 20 minute drive to get to the raft starting point called “Shivpuri”. You will be provided all the rafting gear and safety briefing by Trip Leader at the river side before the trip start, which is one of the most important phase where everyone are advised to pay attention as he will make you understand “What to be done When & Why” also the practice will be done real time on river while we raft down the Ganga. This is grade I to III+ rafting stretch This section has about 9 rapids including Shivpuri, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster (III), T-Off, Gold Course (III+), Club House, Cash Flow, Jail No Bail (Initiation), Double Trouble, Good bye, Rapids are good to raft though. Our trip ends before Laxman Jhulla We called NIM Beach and after quick change 10 mins drive back to Office.

THINGS TO CARRY 

• Bathing Suit/Shorts, T-shirt
• Straps up sandals/Sports Shoes.
• Sun block OR Sunburn lotion.
• A Water Bottle.
• Personal medication (if needed).
• Towel and extra undergarments to change at the end of the trip.
• Full sleeves and quick dry clothes are preferred.
• Sunglasses (if required) will be allowed with Retainers (only)

WHAT YOU DON’T NEED TO BRING TO RIVER!

• Cotton clothes or jeans.
• Any Jewelry.
• Money, Passport, Watch, Cell phone.
• Saari, Skirts.

AGE FOR RAFTING

• 15- 60 years depending upon physical health
• Participants should be medically fit
• If you have serious medical problem then you are not allowed 

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If cancellation done >3 days prior to Trip date: 80% of the total package/trip cost will refunded
• If cancellation done <=3 Days prior to Trip date: No Refund (However trip can be postponed to some other date) email or call us for cancelling.

• All our trips are run with Safety kayaker for safety purpose.
• We provide small Dry bags on the raft for your valuables
• After booking you will receive confirmation voucher

• Wet suits will be provided for winter slots (Nov – Feb)
• Drinking Water (You shall carry your own water bottle)
• Gopro /Photos (You can arrange them from your guide at the mutual negotiated price INR 2000)
• Kindly share your Body size with us in advance that we can keep your size wet suite for the trip 
• Max weight limit is 100 Kg. with XL Size PFD
• Minimum weight should be 30 Kg.

• After booking share your valid ID copy 
• Bring a pair of changing clothes to change at finish point.
• Flip flops or sandal is good to the rafting.
• We don’t recommend shoes on the river
• Summer time there is heavy traffic in Rishikesh plan your trip at least 2 hour in advance.
• Bring big smile
