Half-Day Rafting Trip Itinerary – Marine Drive to NIM Beach

Meet at White World Expeditions

Your adventure begins at White World Expeditions, where you will complete registration formalities and meet your Trip Leader for a short introduction.

After the briefing, we travel to the rafting starting point known as Marine Drive. Upon arrival, you will be provided with all essential rafting equipment, including helmets, life jackets (PFDs), and paddles.

Before starting the trip, your Trip Leader will conduct a detailed safety briefing—one of the most important phases of the rafting experience. During this session, you will learn what to do, when to do it, and why it matters for your safety on the river. Practical exercises and real-time practice will also be carried out on the river as you begin rafting down the Ganga.

This stretch of the Ganga River features Grade I to Grade III+ rapids and typically takes about 4 hours, including travel time to the starting point. You will encounter approximately 14 exciting rapids, including:

Hugs & Kisses, Black Money, Three Blind Mice, Cross Fire, Shivpuri, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster (Grade III), T-Off, Golf Course (Grade III+), Club House, Cash Flow, Jail No Bail (Initiation), and Double Trouble.

Your rafting journey concludes at NIM Beach, located just before the Lakshman Jhula Bridge. After a quick change of clothes, we provide a short 15-minute drive back to White World Expeditions.

To secure your rafting trip with White World Expeditions, a 30% advance payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining 70% balance payment must be completed at the time of check-in before the trip begins.

Things to Carry

• Bathing suit or quick-dry shorts and T-shirt
• Strapped sandals or sports shoes suitable for water activities
• Sunscreen or sunburn lotion

• Towel and extra undergarments for changing after the trip
• Full-sleeve, quick-dry clothing is recommended
• Sunglasses are allowed with retainers/straps

Age & Health Requirements

• Minimum age: 14 years
• Maximum age: 60 years (subject to physical fitness)
• Participants must be medically fit
• Individuals with serious medical conditions may not be permitted to raft for safety reasons

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation more than 30 days before the trip date: 90% refund of the total trip cost
• Cancellation 3 days or less before the trip date: No refund
