Essential Packing Guide & Important Information
Find out what essentials to pack for your rafting trip with our comprehensive checklist. These recommendations may vary depending on the season and weather conditions at the time of your trip.
What to Bring for Day Rafting Trips
Please carry the following essentials:
- Bathing suit or quick-dry shorts & T-shirt
- Strapped sandals or sports shoes
- Sunblock or sunburn lotion
- Reusable water bottle
- Towel and extra undergarments for changing
- Full-sleeve quick-dry clothing (recommended)
- Sunglasses with retainers
Things to Carry for Multi-Day Rafting Trips
For overnight or multi-day rafting adventures, we recommend:
- At least 2 pairs of quick-dry T-shirts & shorts
- Sunglasses with retainers
- Long-sleeve top for sun protection
- Longer shorts with drawstrings (better sun protection)
- Sun-cream (avoid applying on forehead to prevent eye irritation)
- Flip-flops or floaters (can be tied to raft by guide)
- Trainers or sandals with secure buckles
- Towel and full change of clothes
- Small digital camera (must be stored in dry bag)
- Warm clothes (winter only )
- Shoes with warm socks (winter recommended)
- A big smile and adventurous spirit
Additional Facilities Provided:
- Changing tents at starting & finishing points
- Safe storage at office for important belongings
What Not To Bring
The river environment can cause items to slip, fall, or get lost. Please avoid bringing valuables.
Do NOT bring:
- Jewelry (rings, necklaces, watches)
- Mobile phones
- Cameras (unless waterproof & stored safely)
- Passport or important ID documents
- Cash or valuables
- Hard shoes or loose sandals
- Eyeglasses without retainers
- Sarees or skirts
- Any item you cannot afford to lose
Equipment Provided During Rafting
At White World Expeditions, safety is our top priority. We provide:
- Safety helmets
- High-buoyancy life jackets
- Wet suits (November to February )
- Rafting paddles
- Dry bags for essential items
- First aid kit on every raft
- Experienced river guides
- Dedicated safety kayaker
Each rapid is handled by trained professionals, ensuring maximum safety throughout the trip.
Age & Fitness Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16 years
- Maximum Age: 60 years (subject to physical fitness)
- Participants must be medically fit
- Individuals with serious medical conditions may not be permitted
Cancellation Policy
- More than 30 days before trip:
80% refund of total package cost
- 7 days or less before trip:
No refund applicable

- Please share your wet suit size in advance
- Maximum weight limit: 100 kg
