Adventure Travel Insurance Policy

Adventure Travel Insurance is compulsory for all adventure trips organized by White World Expeditions. Having proper insurance coverage is a mandatory condition for confirming your booking.

Why Adventure Insurance is Required 

When selecting a travel insurance policy, it is essential that your policy includes at minimum:

  • Medical expenses coverage 
  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation 
  • Adventure activity coverage (such as rafting, trekking, and outdoor activities)

We strongly recommend that your policy also covers:

  • Personal liability
  • Trip cancellation
  • Trip curtailment
  • Loss of luggage
  • Loss of personal belongings

Having the right insurance policy provides peace of mind while traveling and protects you against unexpected situations during your adventure trip.

Important Insurance Requirements 

  • Your insurance policy must be shown to your trip leader on Day 1 of the trip.
  • Failure to present a valid insurance policy may result in exclusion from the trip.
  • Please keep the following details handy:
    • Insurance Policy Number
    • Emergency Contact Number of Insurance Company
    • Required claim details (as per your insurer)

This ensures quick support in case of emergencies.

Cancellation Insurance Recommendation 

We also strongly recommend purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance.

This may help cover cancellation penalties if you need to cancel your trip due to:

  • Illness
  • Injury
  • Medical emergencies
  • Unforeseen circumstances

Cancellation insurance does not cover cancellations due to change of mind.
