Our guide are appropriately Licensed for the rivers we raft and carry on them their own well maintained rescue equipment. How Far In Advance Should I Book?

The sooner is the better! We recommend booking 6-12 months prior to your departure. Popular trips and trips departing during busier times sell out quicker, so it’s best to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

Who Else Will Be On The Trip?

Our trips attract a wide range of people from all different backgrounds, countries and ages, which makes our small group adventures all the more interesting and fun. All our people tend to enjoy active lifestyles, great food, good company and new experiences. If this sounds like you, then you’ll be in good company. If you’re feeling nervous about traveling in a group, then you won’t be the only one and we can assure you that it almost always works out to be a positive and life enriching experience. There’s also plenty of time to enjoy your own company if you don’t want to do group time for the whole time and you can go at your own pace on the trails. We’re really flexible and can ensure your trip is everything you want it to be, and hopefully more.

How Difficult And Flexible Are Trip Activities?

Every trip has an activity level outlining the level of physical ability you’ll need to participate. For the most part, activities on trips are entirely optional, so if you’re not feeling up to a particular activity on any given day, you’re more than welcome to give it a miss. While the others in your group participate.

Do You Offer Singles-Only Tours?

We do not offer trips exclusively for singles, but you might be surprised to learn thousands of singles join our trips as solo travelers.

We encourage solo travelers to join our adult trips where you’ll be joined by other solo travelers, couples, and families with older kids who all share a common interest in travel and adventure.

If you’re traveling alone, we’ll simply pair you with another solo guest of the same gender for rooming. Alternatively, you’re welcome to pay the single supplement to have rooms to yourself.

Do You Require Travel Insurance?

Your insurance plan should include full medical cover, emergency evacuation and emergency repatriation. You should also ensure you’re covered for trip cancelation and have protection for any other issues such as flight cancelations or delays, loss of luggage and personal effects, and theft.

We will not allow you to participate in our trips in the Himalayas without adequate travel insurance.

Will You Help With Details Before Or After My Trip?

Adventures Tours are what we do best and for this reason, we focus solely on your tour itself. Rest assured you’ll receive helpful communications from our team about your trip – you just need to take care of getting yourself to wherever the trip starts and any pre-trip accommodation you might require, and any onward travel plans from the time we drop you off where your trip ends. If you need some ideas for what to do before or after your trip, check out the local Chamber of Commerce, or speak with a travel agent who’ll also be able to help with flights, pre/post-trip accommodation, and more.

How Much Should I Tip My Guides?

Our guides work very hard to ensure you have the trip of a lifetime. They’re dedicated, knowledgeable, and their attention to detail truly sets them apart from the rest. If you feel your guides have gone above and beyond, a gratuity may be given at the end of the trip. Depending on your group size, you will have 2-3 guides on your trip. We recommend USD$20 per day, per guest, per guide. Typically gratuities are offered by check (where available) or cash in the local currency on the final morning of the trip and can either be given to each guide individually or to one guide to be equally distributed.

Our trips typically exclude the following:

Can I Bring my Camera?

We don’t recommend you bringing any cameras on the river, or even expensive still cameras, on trips. Our guide will have Gopro camera any way he will be making your awesome video on the river from all angles after trip you can buy it from your guide at finish point.

How fit should I to go for rafting ?

Yes you should be physically & mentally fit for rafting trip It’s team work and you have to paddle all together and we also use oar boats (the guide does most of the work), you can choose to be as active as you wish. On many rafting trips paddle boats are used. This means that guests will be an active source of power to move the boat through the rapids and you will need to learn commands from your guides to help maneuver the boat as it moves downstream. You should be reasonably healthy, and must be able to fit into the life vests supplied by your outfitter. Paddling can sometimes be tiring,

I Am A Senior Citizen, Can I Go Rafting?

For fit, active seniors 60 year old we recommend, as a first step, a class II paddle boat or oar boat trip. Depending on how this feels to you, you might want to try paddling a Class III river. 

I Have A Family With Young Children, Can They Go Rafting?

We have special family trips available, on which you can take children as young as fourteen. Each particular river trip and company has its government suggested age limits.

If I Can't Swim, Can I Still Go Rafting?

Everyone on commercial rafting trips wears a coast guard approved life vest or personal flotation device (PFD). This critical piece of equipment will keep you afloat in the event that you find yourself in the river. Many non-swimmers go on Rafting and they have a great time. Your guide will give you an in depth safety talk before your trip explaining what you should prepare for and do in the event you fall out of the raft. Is Any Physical Preparedness Required?

No high levels of fitness are required for rafting. Anybody over 14 years of age can run nearly all rivers, we do not offer. Persons suffering from weak heart conditions, epilepsy, expecting mothers or those with any serious ailment are not permitted to participate

Is It Safe Rafting?

Rafting is one of the safest adventure activities, provided activity is undertaken with standard equipment’s and safety procedures. All our trips are guided by experienced River Guides with at least five years of experience on all rivers, we run. We use only international safety gear like Guide, Life jackets, Helmets, etc. River guides are trained in First Aid and CPR and can handle minor injuries during rafting.

Is Winter A Good Time To Go For Rafting?

Rafting is thrilling, exciting, wet, wild and unbelievably fun. However, as with all adventure sports, there is inherent risk involved. That risk contributes to the excitement, and is one of the reasons people enjoy rafting so much. Our guides are trained to minimize and manage risks, and, statistically, you’re safer in a raft than in your car.

Should I Be A Swimmer?

Not necessarily, all our guided trips are open for non-swimmers as well. A comprehensive safety briefing is given before each trip and moreover, the ability to swim is not a consideration when you go down a whitewater river except for certain sections or rapids where swimmers are only allowed to participate.

What Are My Chances Of Falling Out Of The Boat? What Should I Do If I Do?

Believe it or not, many people love falling out of the boat. It’s exciting. But it can be disorienting and a little overwhelming at first. Many people have taken multiple trips and never fallen in. Some people swim on their first trip. It’s all a part of rafting. Before you go on any trip, you’ll be given extensive instructions on what to do if you fall in, and how to stay safe. What Happens On A Typical Rafting Trip?

Your trip begins when you meet the trip leader at meeting point. He or she will collect your release forms and signed it up clear all paper work then everyone gets on the Vehicle which will transport you to the “put in” where we put our rafts in the river. At the put in, the trip leader will give you a safety talk  20 to 30 minute discussion about how to be safe on the water. Then you’ll head to your boat and jump in! Paddle down the river .

What Rafting Equipment Will We Using?

All raft and rafting equipment owned and operated by White World Expeditions Rafting exceed safety standard. All rafts are self-bailing and excellent condition and are fully equipped for the expedition you are on. We will be using life jacket Helmet & paddle on the river trip.

What Should I Wear On The River?

Well this is not a fashion contest! Your gear will depend on the time of year, water temperature, and weather for your trip. Ask your outfitter for gear recommendations before your trip. As a rule of thumb we recommend you dress for the water temperature, rather than the air temperature, since you’ll be getting wet. Hotter days, with cold water, we recommend wearing a quick dry Shorts & T-shirts & Wetsuits dry top.

Which Trips Are Best For Me?

If you are just learning to raft, start off with a Class II or III,  rafting on Ganga river Ganga which start from Brahmpuri or Phoolchatti after you can try the bigger session on the Ganga river.

On other river like Bhagirathi Upper Alaknanda river Class IV rafting trip. If you are nervous about being part of a paddle boat, an alternative is to ride along on an oar boat, which many companies offer on different rivers. Many rafters who are confident in the water, healthy, and feel adventurous, drop right into a Class IV river without prior experience. Guides will make sure you are trained in safety and paddle techniques.

What Will Happen If I Go Over Board?

Relax and enjoy the moment of the water keep your both feet toward downstream and head up when you are going in the water close your mouth and when your buoyancy push you up then take a long breath always look toward downstream this is the best Whitewater swimming position.
