We at White World Expeditions Organize Sunrise trip in and around Rishikesh, one such guided tour we organize is the Kunjapuri temple sunrise trip, Kunjapuri is one of the sacred temples of immense importance in Hinduism and is located at a height of 1676 on a hill. Kunjapuri Temple is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Sati who is considered to be one of the 13 most important ladies of the Shivalik hills. According to a legend, the goddess Sati’s torso fell here at that time when her husband Hindu god Shankar was taking her body to Kailash Mountains. The temple was built in the same place where Lord Shankar fell on his torso when he took his body. Kunjapuri temple is one of the 52 Sakhtipeeth in Uttrakhand. Kunjapuri Devi temple also offers a panoramic view of snowcapped mountains such as Swarag Rohini, Bandar punch, Chowkhamba, and Gangotri.
There are 80 steep steps to reach the shrine of Kunjapuri temple from the road and the temple is situated on the top of the hill.

Early morning Our Trip leader will come to your hotel, after sign up for the form, then depart for the Kunjapuri Day Sunrise Trip at 5:00 AM with your guide, it’s a roughly 1.5 hour drive to Kunjapuri temple which is situated on the top of the hill.
After reaching to temple experience the beauty along with feeling the positive energy of the Sunrise, see the great view of the Himalayas and relax for some time and make a visit to the Kunjapuri Temple.
